The Hand-Raise Test

Your last two years of leads still have money in them

I work with businesses to recover revenue from people who inquired and never bought. We restart those conversations using SMS, and your team only talks to the ones who raise their hand.

Watch: how the Hand-Raise Test works

What nobody talks about

At some point, the follow-up problem gets too big to muscle through

Something nobody warns you about when you're growing fast: leads come in faster than anyone can handle them. The ones that slip through don't disappear. They sit in your CRM, costing money and doing nothing.

Leads come in at 9:41pm. Nobody replies.

By morning they've moved on. Called someone else. Signed with a competitor who answered faster. The lead cost you the same either way.

The sales team's chasing new inquiries.

The last two years of old ones just sit there. Everyone says they'll "get to it." Nobody does. Those leads already know who you are, and they're not being touched.

You keep spending on ads to fill the top of the funnel.

The bottom leaks. New leads pour in, old leads pour out. You're paying to replace people you already paid to find.

The Hand-Raise Test

Three steps. Your team only talks to the people who said yes.

Watch the SMS conversation below and imagine you're a real prospect. Try to stump it, push back, go off-script. That's what your leads will do.

01

Test a portion of your old leads

Any CRM, any format, any age. A spreadsheet works. We've onboarded lists from every platform you can think of.

02

We restart the conversations

Two-way text outreach that reads like a message from someone on your team. Conversational, personal, and calibrated to match your brand.

03

You get the hand-raises

The ones who are still interested reply. We route them back to your team warm and flagged. Your people only talk to the ones who said yes.

Hi Mark, it's Sarah from Apex Solar. Is this the same Mark who inquired about panels for your place on Elm St back in March?2:14 PM
Yeah that's me. We never ended up going ahead with it2:16 PM
No worries at all. A lot has changed since then, the rebate program actually got extended. Would it be worth a quick call to see if the numbers still work for you?2:17 PM
Actually yeah, that would be great. I'm free Thursday afternoon2:19 PM
Perfect. I'll get one of our guys to call you Thursday around 2pm. Talk then, Mark.2:20 PM

Try it yourself

See the Hand-Raise Test in action, then try to break it

This is the same conversation your old leads would get. Reply the way a real customer would, throw curveballs at it, and watch how it handles them. It is free to try and there is nothing to sign up for.

Where this started

We ran this on ourselves first

We scaled our tutoring company to 300 teachers a year. Business was good. But our response time was killing us.

We had 2,400 leads from the last 18 months that never got a proper follow-up. We cared, we just couldn't keep up. The team was chasing new inquiries and the old ones sat there.

So I started experimenting with SMS outreach. Conversational, two-way, human-sounding. We ran a simple test: uploaded the list, sent one message ("Are you still looking for help?") and waited.

48 replies in 24 hours. 9 rebooked. $0 ad spend.

Then we pointed it at past-due customers with empathetic messaging and recovered $47,000 in a week. From a list we had stopped working.

That's when we turned the workflows, prompts, guardrails, and routing into a system anyone could use. That system is Leverage OS.

What it turns up

Revenue from lists people had stopped working

I didn't think old leads would convert. Then we pulled a $47K solar job from someone we'd written off 8 months ago.

Two mortgage clients in one week, from a list of 400 I thought were dead. This thing works.

Ron, Mortgages client

I was skeptical. Then three old insurance leads called me back inside 48 hours. Easiest pipeline I've added in years.

What we actually do

We recover revenue from the leads you already paid for

We don't find new leads.

We go back through the ones you already paid for. Your CRM, your old quotes, your "not right now" pile. All of it.

We do the chasing.

Your team only talks to the people who replied. We handle the outreach, the back-and-forth, the qualifying. You get warm hand-raises.

We get paid when you get paid.

We run a free test first to prove it works on your actual leads. If it makes you money, we scale it together on a profit-share that works for both sides.

If your database is under 200 people or less than six months of collected inquiries, the math doesn't work yet. We'll still run the test and tell you what we find.

The engine behind it:Leverage OS

About Greg & Leverage OS

Built from a real problem in a real business

I'm Greg Courtepatte. I run Modern Operator out of Edmonton. Before this I was a certified Civil Engineering Technologist, then I walked away from that in 2015 to build businesses instead.

My wife Lara and I built a tutoring company called Tutor Teach. I handled the operations and the tech side. We got good at bringing leads in. What we were bad at was getting back to them fast enough. Leads came in, nobody replied in time, and thousands of them sat in our CRM going cold.

So I started messing around with ChatGPT and SMS to talk to those old leads the way a person on our team would. Fast, natural, back and forth. The first run pulled $47,000 out of a list we'd already given up on, inside a week. I turned the prompts, the guardrails and the routing into something anyone could point at their own list. That became Leverage OS.

Dad of two. Still running Tutor Teach. This is the system I wish I'd had five years earlier.
